Obituary of Ronald O'Shea

Ronald C. O'Shea, 70, formerly of Cortland, passed away April 6, 2014 in Haines City, Florida. Ron was a graduate of Waterloo High School. He then went onto to serve with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He then lived in Cortland for many years working at Brockway Motors. He relocated to Florida in 1992 and worked as a painter. He enjoyed collecting die cast cars, along with being an avid NASCAR, Yankee, and Washington Redskins fan. He is survived by his wife Marietta O'Shea of Florida, his sons David (Debbie) O'Shea, Jeffrey (amy) O'Shea, Ronald O'Shea Jr., Casey Patrick O'Shea, his daughters Tammy (Joe) Howe, Kendra (Jeff Harvey) Price, step son Kip Price, several grandchildren, two great grandchildren, siblings Valor Jr., Kevin, Dennis O'Shea, Tommy Ostertag, Cathy Earring, Patty Ann Pacquin, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday 4-5 with a funeral service to begin 5 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. Burial will be at the Marathon Cemetery be at a later time. Contributions may be made to the family.
