Obituary of Viola M. Chambers

Viola M. Chambers, 87, of Cortland passed away October 12, 2014 at the Cortland Park and Rehabilitation Center. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Chambers in October of 1986. Viola was active with her various church activities primarily with the Marathon Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Dolores (Ernie) Grant of Cortland, grandchildren Art Bell Jr., Jodi Bell, Eugene Grant, and Lyn Grant, along with two great grandchildren Brandon and Emma. She is also survived by a sister, Betty Prosch of Binghamton and several nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held Wednesday 10-11 am with a funeral service to begin at 11 am at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045.
