Obituary of Ruth E. Cottrell

Ruth E. Cottrell, 90, of Scott passed away on October 16, 2014 at the Groton Nursing Facility. She was born on December 16, 1923 in Cortland the daughter of the late Benjamin G. Lee and Rose Bowman. Ruth is predeceased by her husband; Foster, son; Stanley, and her siblings. Mrs. Cottrell is survived by her sons; Lisle (Shirley) of Scott, David (Donna) of Scott, her daughter Dianne Cottrell of Pocatello, Idaho, daughter-in-law Linda Cottrell of Tully, eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, Barb Coon and family, Robert Foster, several niece, nephews, Doris Pataki and extended family at GCCF. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland NY with a service to begin at 11:00 AM with Nephew; Rev. James Laun presiding.
