Obituary of Freida B. Culver

Freida B. Culver 90, of Cortland passed away February 23, 2015 in Cortland Regional Medical Center. Freida was born May 16, 1924 in Cortland the daughter of the late Ralph D and Gertrude Turner Cook. She had been employed by Cobakco and Durkee Bakeries and Wilson Sporting goods. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Freida is survived by her children Sylvia Hutchings and Linda Fellows of Arizona, Patricia (Donald) Brookins and Jackie (Richard) Henry of Cortland, several grandchildren, great grandchildren Her brother Robert ( Pat) Cook of Cortland, Sister Wilma Reynolds of Illinois, several nieces and nephews In addition to her parents Freida was predeceased by her husband Richard Culver, daughter Cynthia, Brothers Harold, George and Richard Cook. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in the spring. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Freida’s name is asked to consider the charity of one’s choice. Wright-Beard Funeral Home is assisting the family.
