Martha A. Kryger, 75, of Cuyler NY, passed away February 9, 2016 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center. She was born December 12, 1940 in Cortland NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Peacock Kryger. Martha was a lifelong resident of the area attending local schools. She had been employed with Smith Corona, N.C.C., Buckbee Mears, and most recently with E.L. Wood retiring in 2006. Martha was an animal lover who enjoyed caring for her cats. She is survived by numerous friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Betty Stevens in 2009. A calling hour will be Friday 2-3 pm with a funeral service to begin 3 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045.
