Gloria G. Creeden, 78, of Cincinnatus passed away May 4, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse. She was born January 14, 1938 in Middletown NY, the daughter of the late Harry and Nellie Wilson Moore. Gloria was involved with the family dairy farm with her late husband Ernest until 1984. She had also been employed at the Cortland Hospital as a nursing assistant in the maternity and surgical units. Gloria enjoyed reading, gardening, caring for animals, but her greatest love was for her family. She is survived by her sons Ernest (Jody) Creeden, Dorian (Tonia) Creeden, Erik Creeden, Gregory (Louanne) Creeden, Kristopher Creeden, her daughters Glory (Bill Bump) Creeden, Jody (Mark) Eccleston, Rose Creeden, and Amy Creeden, her nineteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, her brother Donald Moore, her sisters Diane Doty and Virginia Banuat, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gloria was predeceased by her husband Ernest Creeden and grandchildren Hunter and Mikayla Creeden. Calling hours will be Monday 5-7 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at the Scott union Cemetery.
