Adelaide S Thrasher 94, of Cortland passed away May 8, 2016 Adelaide was born July 22, 1921 in Montpelier , VT. , the daughter of the late John and Mary Rafuse Taylor. She enjoyed flowers, going to the Senior Center, collecting pigs, baking and cooking for her family. Her family will miss her apple pies. Reading her bible was very important to her. Adelaide is survived by her children Justin (Betty Davis) Hobart of Solon, John Hobart Blodgett Mills, Randy Thrasher, Judy (Francis) Oliver of McGraw, her son in law Bob Temple of Cortland, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchild, 1 Great- Great Grandchild Several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Adelaide was predeceased by her husband Clifton, daughter Barbara Temple Funeral Services will be held Monday May 15th at 11:00 am at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. interment will follow in McGraw Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to the service.
