Obituary of David K. Henry

David K. Henry 54, of DeRuyter passed away on August 9, 2016 at Cortland Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 9, 1961 in Cortland, NY to Kenneth Henry and Carol Hollenbeck-Henry. David worked as a parking lot security guard for Empire Archives until December 2015. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. David is survived by his parents, Kenneth Henry and Carol Hollenbeck, his wife, Tammy Henry, DeRuyter, three daughters, Rae and Shane Clark of Cuyler, Brittanie and Brandon Metcalf of Cuyler, Brandi Henry of Cuyler, six grandchildren, Alexus and Adrien Ratliff, Brayden and Bristyn Metcalf, Harli Henry and Sullivan Clark, three brothers, one sister and several nieces and nephews. David was a surrogate father, papa, and uncle to so many more. Private services will be held at a later date. Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
