Obituary of Robert C. Rupert

Robert C. "Bob" Rupert, 71, of Dryden passed away August 17, 2016. He was born February 8, 1945 in Endicott NY, the son of the late Charles and Alice Kingsbury Rupert. Bob came to the Dryden area in 1977. Over the years he had been employed with several car dealerships. He was an avid musician playing bass, and was a member in several bands. In his spare time he enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and going to the casino. His greatest love was for his family, whom will cherish his memory. He is survived by his wife Sandra Rupert, his sons Robert "Scott" (Della) Rupert, Dennis (Lynne VanDeWeert) Rupert, Nathan (Kim Whitney) Rupert, his daughter Randi Clark, his grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brother in law and sister in law Aaron and Joyce Traver, sister in law and brother in law Faye and Patrick McLean, nieces and nephews, special friends Dick and Sharon Small, Florence "Mom" Earley, Jim and Elaine King, John Drake, Mike Eaton. Calling hours will be Saturday August 20, 1-3 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY 13045. Private burial will follow at the Center Lisle Cemetery.
