Obituary of Marjorie J. Smith

Marjorie J. Smith, 73, of Cortland passed away September 21, 2106 in Cortland, NY. Marjorie was born July 8, 1943 in Newark Valley , the daughter of the late Paul and Lillian Hummell Swarts. Marjorie came to the Cortland area approximately 30 years ago after marrying her husband Larry. While living locally she was employed at Higgins Supply Company. In her spare time she enjoyed photography and traveling Marjorie is survived by her husband of 30 years Larry Smith her sons Michael Campbell, Robert (Teri) Campbell, her grandchildren Branson, Austin, Miles, Kristy Lynn and Aaron. Several great grandchildren. Her brothers Donald Swarts of Glen Aubrey, Stanley “Neil” Swarts of Endicott and Harry "Lefty” Swarts of Waverly.Her sister Rita Grow of Whitney Point. Several nieces and nephews.
