Obituary of Arla B. Adams

Arla Bisaccia Adams The early hours of Friday morning, October 21, 2016 saw the passing of Arla Bisaccia Adams. She was born January 9, 1934 in Cortland, New York to Vincenzo and Rosina Lombardi Bisaccia, immigrants from Ferrazzano, Italy. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband James J. Adams and her siblings Enrico "Henry" Bisaccia, Gloria Bisaccia, Virginia (Joseph) Noverini, Vincent (Joan) Bisaccia, and Leonora (John) Rich. She is survived by her children James R. "Jay" (Joanne) Adams, Diane (Byrd) Ostrander, Mark Adams, and Tammy Graham (Rob Cullember). Arla had 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Though residing in Cortland for the past 7 years, Arla lived most of her adult life on Glen Haven Road in Homer, NY. Arla enjoyed bus trips to casinos, scratching lottery tickets, bowling on Wednesday afternoons but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. The family will be celebrating her at Glenwood Cemetery in Homer, NY on Saturday, October 29th at 11:00am.
