Ann (DiCriscio) Evenden, 72, of Cortland, NY passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016. Ann was born October 23, 1944 in Wilmington, DE the daughter of the Richard and Lorraine DiCriscio, and raised by her step-father Raymond Poore. She is a 1963 graduate of Cortland High School. She worked for Smith Corona Corporation for 36 years and ITC/Borg Warner for 12 years. Ann is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Alfred Evenden. She was also a loving mother to her three daughters, Laurie Fox (Gary) of Scott, NY, Penni Evenden of Orlando, FL and Stefanie (Robert) Flohr of Tampa, FL, as well as her three grandchildren, Danielle, Brent and Joshua, and two great-grand children. She also leaves behind her best friend of over 30 years, Donna Hayes. Ann enjoyed family time, baking and gardening. She was a life long bowler at Cort Lanes. She loved to crochet and sew. She enjoyed travelling to Florida to see her daughters and enjoyed the beach. She could always be found by her husband's side at antique car shows throughout their 50 year marriage. Ann also enjoyed many "girls weekends away" to Canada. She will be missed by her many co-workers, fellow bowlers, friends and family. Ann was a life long dog lover, having trained and loved the best beagles, Cupcake, Prudie, Jazzie and her current beagle, Wally. Many people didn't know Ann's love for her beagles and all she did for the Cortland, SPCA. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Ann's name to the Cortland SPCA, 879 McLean Rd, Cortland, NY 13045 so that her legacy of giving will live on.
