Robert S Austin, 41 of Homer, New York passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 19, 2017, he was born June 27, 1975 in Cortland. He was a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Homer High School in June of 1993. He has been employed at Franciscan Health Support in Liverpool and Cortland as a operations manager. In his spare time he enjoyed softball, golfing, reading and his beloved Yankees and Buffalo Bills. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and children. He is survived by his daughter Annie R Austin and his son Blake W. Austin, step children Katherine (Cory) Noble and Elizabeth Torti. His Mother, Suzanne Smith Austin, twin brother Richard (Jamie) Austin, twin sisters Kimberly Austin and Kelley Austin, Paternal Grandmother Angela Austin, nieces' Sydni Austin, Kamri Austin and Jazmine Austin. Several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his Father William R Austin, September 8, 2009. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Wright Beard Funeral Home 12:30-2:30 with services to follow, conducted by Pastor John Hartman.
