DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS...CALLING HOURS ARE NOW HELD 12-1PM AT WRIGHT-BEARD FUNERAL HOME INC. 9 LINCOLN AVE. CORTLAND, NY. A FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 1PM. David C. F. Jaeger, 81, of Homer, passed away on March 11, 2017 with his loving family by his side at Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born on July 19, 1935 in Eaton, NY. David was employed by Pall Trinity Micro as a maintenance man for 25 years until his retirement. He greatly enjoyed collecting John Deere tractors, painting and gardening. David was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, and lifelong member of the New York State Grange. David is survived by three brothers, Ronald and Betty Lyman, South Carolina, Joseph and Louella Lyman, Homer, Carl Lyman, Fayetteville, one sister, Joan Cincotta, Homer, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his parents, a brother Jackie Lyman, a sister in law, Mary Ann Lyman, and a brother in law, Angelo Cincotta. A calling hour will be held Thursday 12-1 pm with a funeral service to begin 1:00 PM Thursday, at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will be in the spring at Maple Flats Cemetery, Cleveland, NY. Memorial contributions in David's name can be made to, Camp Bayouca, 100 Camp Spaulding Rd, Smithville Flats, NY 13841 or Hospicare & Palliative Care Services, 11 Kennedy Pkwy, Cortland, NY 13045.
