Obituary of Michael Allen

Michael H. Allen Jr., 44, of McGraw NY, passed away surrounded by his family on June 26, 2017. Michael was born on January 24, 1973 in Cortland, NY to his parents Michael Allen Sr. and Patricia "Inman" Allen. Michael worked as a Steel Fabricator for Pyrotek for many years. He immensely enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, playing darts and spending time with his family and friends. He was a proud father and husband. He had a great sense of humor with an infectious smile, which could brighten even the roughest days. Michael is survived by his loving wife Tanya, daughters Brittany (Samuel) and Mikeala Allen, son Michael Allen, his granddaughter in whom was his pride and joy Savannah McCaskill, his parents, Michael and Patricia Allen, and sisters Tina Reynolds and Paula Simpson. Michael is also survived by his dear friend who was like a brother to him, Dana Butts. There will be a celebration of life held on July 9th, 2017 at the Cortland American Legion on Tompkins St. starting at noon.
