I am just learning of Duane's passing. Duane and Cheryl were such positive supporters of Virgil School and their children's education. I knew I could always count on them for their help. Duane, such a special friend, always a smile and a laugh. Duane and Sherry became wonderful friends, welcomed me into their home, as did his mom, dad, Barney, Val, and all the kids. Me , a guy with no real home of my own, and I became family, welcome anytime, night or day. He told me he'd always leave the light on for me. Many laughs, great times, and valuable friendship, with no bounds. We have lost one of the kindest souls, heaven has gained a beautiful heart, with a fabulous sense of humor. You are home now with mom, and dad, sister and brother. Such an honor to have known you and be able to call you my family. Safe travels, and keep the light on for me.
