It would be hard to forget the boat fishing on DeRuyter Lake when the wind picked up and weren't 100% sure we'd make it in but we did. And the many conversations about life. I grew to know a man whom I truly looked up to in many ways. All though technically he was my step father but being just a few years older I truly looked to him as an older brother I never had.

Jim always had a twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his face. Such a wonderful person,always helping others. He will truly be missed by so many .

Grandpa Twomey was a wonderful man. Always smiling, always trying to tell you something funny or a story from long ago. He was a kind. You always had a place near him if you needed it. I will remember how much he loved spending time with his family and showing us all his beloved ipad that he recorded all his memories on he wanted to watch back. He was a wonderful listener and he enjoyed hearing your stories as much as he enjoyed telling his own. He will be deeply missed by so so many. Until we meet again. Love you!

Jim and I go back almost 50 years! He has faced many challenges in life but always kept a positive attitude. Oh the memories, both good and bad. Friday night cards would be the best recent memories. I can hear him calling us a bunch of sandbaggers (to be honest I think he really meant me). This man would out bid you with nothing in his hand, and still would make his bid. Jim truly loved his family, his dog Walter, friends, cards, and life. Uncle Jim I will surely miss you. Until we meet again, I love you and this sandbagger will bid on just an Ace!!
