Joe was a close friend and colleague of my father, Norb Haley. They worked together for many years in the Public Relations Office on the 3rd floor of the Miller building. I remember stopping in to the office in my youth and Joe was always there with a smile and friendly word. Joe was a good friend to my father, even after they both had long retired. He visited my father in Schenectady the summer before he passed away and Joe shared with me how when they said good-bye to each other, they both knew it would be the last time they saw each other. Two good men, who served their families, their country, and their communities so well. My sympathies to you Katherine, David, Jenny and your families.
