I practically grew up knowing John but we called him Papa San he knew my nickname Ralphie. Years later I myself went to work for Pall. Every day he would stop to see me and ask what I did to deserve to be called Ralph ie I was way to beautiful a girl for such a nickname. Rest in peace Papa San

John will be missed by so many. He was always willing to lend hand to help. He helped me move countless times and with vehicles just to name a few things! One time I really wanted Mom to make her famous strawberry jam but she didn't want to that day and John showed up with a whole flat of strawberries just so she would cave :-) He had a great sense of humor! One of the things I will miss most is laughing with him and seeing his reaction when I share stories about the kids!
My condolences to John's family. I remember good times in our younger days. He and his family were neighbors and very good friends. Blessings to you all.
John was such a kind friend. I asked him 3 times to help when I had to move. He never said no. His response was yes. Until I bought our home in Homer & he said “ok, but this will have to be your last time”. Steve & I will miss waving to him as we drive by. Love you, Max. I you need us, we are only 2 streets away.
