I only met John in late 2007 but over the years found hime to be a man whose word was his bond and a deal was sealed with a handshake which unfortunately is a rarity now a days. When I was brought before him in hopes of employment at the federal building, he seemed disinterested as he was in desperate straits for people who wanted to work as much as possible. He said to me that he had enough guys who wanted to go golfing and camping. I immediately responded that I still had young children and would work as much as possible and his eyes lit up - the rest as they say is history. He will be missed

Always fun time..John had great sense of humor.

I worked with John while we were both assigned the OCTF with the attorney generals office. I worked in the Utica office. He was a great man and Trooper. Will miss him.
John was one of the nicest fellows. My Dad enjoyed his company in Aruba along with the rest of the gang. Condolences to Terri, Cheryl and the family. He will be missed.
