I was a high school friend of Shari’s and connected several times with Donna about her and she also worked with my mom, (who has since passed) at the Y. She was very kind and she connected me to the website she created in Shari’s memory, including her story, “God’s Rabbits: An Easter Story”. She was a strong and spiritual person and I know she’s at peace in God’s arms.

I was very lucky to know Donna during my many happy years attending the YWCA's afterschool program. She was kind and gentle, soft spoken but respected, and someone who treated kids with the same respect as adults. I know she loved her family and would always entertain our 10000 questions about all the family photos she had in her office. I send my sincerest condolences to her family. Donna Stroyan was a college friend of mine. In 1969 I introduced her to my brother, Jim Fitts. They were married in 1970. Donna Stroyan Fitts was the sweetest, most loving and caring person I've ever known. May she rest in peace.
