Obituary of Andrea Czimmer

Andrea F. Czimmer, 17, of Cortland died May 22, 2015, a senior at Cortland High School. Dearest Andrea, Andrea we love you so much if you can hear us we want to tell you that you are our angel. Known as little bird to her loving mom Maria and family, Andrea is a light of brilliance and strength for all that knew her and loved her. A strikingly beautiful young woman who is confident, caring, loving; a force of determination and will. Andrea loved so many things – bon-fires in her back yard, her dog cokie, her coffee in the morning, having special coupons for challenge drinks at coffee mania…buying dresses for 5 dollars that she made look like a million dollars. Her small frame housed a giant loving heart. She is a courageous soul , A person who wants to make a difference in this world. She graduated from TC3 college with honors before getting her High school degree. She was very excited for her future for being accepted to the University of Vermont of starting her college career as a sophomore with an Associate's degree and putting into place her lifelong dream to be a doctor of Veterinary medicine. She always had a job and never wavered in her striving to excel as a person as well as a worker and a student. She made us all very proud of her! Andrea is a loyal daughter, sister and friend. She has touched many other souls with her graciousness and special heart and smile. She will always be with us. Andrea Czimmer is survived by her father Mathew Czimmer and loving, dedicated mom – Maria Sokolova, brother – Ronny Diaz, Jeffery Czimmer, Andrew Czimmer, sister – Diana Diaz and nieces – Shalia and Daniela as well as a whole community of loving friends and family.. Friends and family are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial Friday 3 pm at St. Mary's Church, Cortland NY. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home is serving the family.
