Marion Patricia Signor, 79, of Homer, New York, passed away October 1, 2018 at Cortland Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. "Pat" was born March 18, 1939 in Cortland, the daughter of Harold and Thelma Knolls. Pat worked as a banker for many years and later as a receptionist at Cortland Hospital. She was an active member of the Homer Congregational Church, singing in the choir and serving on various committees. Pat had many hobbies. She enjoyed being home, working in the flower gardens, sitting on her porch and offering everyone "something to eat." Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Her sunny smile and warm heart will be missed by everyone. Pat was predeceased by her husband, David E. Signor, and her sister, Virginia Munson. She is survived by her daughters, Julie (Ardy) Burhans of Moravia, Cathy (Ted) Renninger of Homer, her sons, Thomas of Illinois and Stephen of Homer. She is also survived by her sister, Beverly (Dick) Hopkins and her brother Harold (Sharon) Knolls. She will especially be missed by her 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 5, at the Homer Congregational Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Glenwood Cemetery for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Homer Fire Department, 45 S.
