One of my favorite trips was with aunt Nell & my godmothers Lori & Chris to Gettysburg. Even though uncle Paul didn’t come he made sure to give aunt Nell money to give to all of us so we could buy a souvenir. He was always like that, very generous & giving. Even at our family get togethers he would try to slip me money before we headed home, he was so funny & caring! I will miss you uncle Paul, give my love to aunt Nell. Love, your great nephew Timmy

Uncle Paul was such a sweet man. He will be missed greatly. We always enjoyed his good sense of humor and his story telling. He loved his family so much. You could see how proud he was of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. We love you Uncle Paul! We hope you are with Aunt Nel and Mia.
Love,
Keith, Amanda, & Sophia

I remember one day I called to talk to aunt Nell & she was getting her hair done, uncle Paul & I talked for over an hour on the phone. I have always cherished that conversation & will miss so much hearing you tell your stories! I cherish all the family get togethers, wishing we could turn back time to all be together again! We know you are at peace because you are with aunt Nell. Hope you gave her a hug & kiss from me, love always Brenda

My deepest sympathy Paul was a wonderful man and a client. We often talked about his military days and he loved talking about his Nelly. He loved her dearly. He couldn’t speak enough about her and how he met her and often talked about Dryden hotel Paul was so proud of his daughters Christine and Lori and oh how he loves driving the school buses and taking the kids to their games. I am going to miss our conversations. I’ll miss him dearly love Victoria Riccardi from Vickie’s Hair fashion. I love you Poul you are the best.

Mr A. was like a second dad to me. Growing up on Anderson Dr down the road from them. Mr and Mrs A was my parents best friends, playing pitch every week, doing many things together. I was best friends with both Lori and Chris. I spent many times in their house. Mr A was always so sweet and kind. So many fond memories of him. He always had a smile. He will be missed for sure. ❤️

Uncle Paul was always quick with a joke and loved playing cards. He was so kind and generous with a smile that would warm your heart. He always loved when I would throw an Ace on grand-dad’s King. It drove Grand-dad crazy when I wouldn’t bid my hand, but Uncle Paul would laugh every time. Those card games were always filled with love.

92 amazing years. You were strong and loving and cared for your family more than anyone I have ever known. We will miss you so much but know you are with Grandma now which you wanted so much. Please look over Brycen and I and your soon to be great grandson. We will make sure to tell him all about the amazing man you were and everything you did for him before he was even here. I will always love you.

Pop, you were the first person I thought about when I went up to grandma and papas. I would get there, and go right in your room to talk/say hi to you, I would come out and grandma would say to me “did you go and say hi to pop?” and my response was always, “duhhhh”. You always knew how to put a smile on my face, and you made sure everyone around us had a smile on their face as well. Getting to have you as my pop is truly a blessing and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. I love you so much and you’ll forever be missed.
- Your great granddaughter, BB♥️

When we told Pop I was pregnant he looked over at Brycen and said “You devil, you!”
My last memory of Pop was New Years Eve 2024 when I went in a little before midnight and had him put his hand on my belly. He wasn’t 100% aware of what was going on and very sleepy but he put his hand on my belly and rubbed it a little and said “That’s my boy”. I won’t ever forget that.

I met Paul (and Nell) when I was 9 years old, and had the privilege of spending a lot of time with them for many years following due to my close friendship with Megan. Paul was also my bus driver for a few years, and would always give us candy bars and would save me a seat up front near him because I hated sitting in the back. One of my favorite memories was when Megan and I were on a trip to Batavia with Paul and Nell. They let us roll down the windows and listen to Shania Twain the entire time. During that trip, I had my hand out the window waving in the wind, and Paul wasn’t aware of it. All of a sudden he started rolling my window up with my hand caught in it. He couldn’t hear well, even back then, so it took a minute for him to realize it haha. We had a good laugh about it and it was a running joke for a long time after that. I deeply cherish my time with Paul and Nell on those trips. I will never forget their welcoming and loving nature as well as Paul’s sense of humor, calmness, and grandfatherly nature.

My Pop always made sure I had whatever I needed. If I mentioned my house was cold and we were burning a lot of wood he would try to give me money to pay for the kerosene to fill our tank. Grandma and Pop gave me my first car, bought my wedding dress, and most recently Pop bought the crib for Baby Dunn. These are just a few of the hundreds if not thousands of things my Grandparents did for me over my 36 years of life and don’t even include all the toys and numerous Barbies Pop would buy me every time we went to the store hehe.
Pop would have given the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. I just hope my son can be even half the amazing man my Pop was and I hope I can teach my son everything Pop taught me.
Love,
Your Squeek

My Pop loved playing pitch but he also loved to bid 4 and then throw something like a 9 to start which drove all of us nuts! As crazy as it made me, I will definitely miss it.

Q: How would you describe Paul to someone who had never met them?
A: The way I would describe my grandfather to some is that after you meet him you most certainly will never forget him! He had an outstanding that would put a smile on you face with his cheery jokes, and he would give his last dollar in his pocket to make sure you were well fed. I am going to miss you and grandma dearly, but I know she was there waiting for yelling PAUL come on already! Love, your Konman

Oh where do I start. You were the most sweetest, amazing, best pop ever. You always made my day when I would see you, and I’ll never forget all the great memories we had together. I’ll miss our talks on the side porch or in your room, and when you would try to give me money and I would try and say no but you made sure I got it anyways. I promise to always take good care of my family just as you would always tell me to do. You’ll be forever missed, I love you so much pop♥️

Dad,
I am so proud to call you Dad. You loved us so much. Everything you did was for our family. All the vacations, the beautiful house you built for our family, and the love you showed us every day. Your work ethic was so amazing, you just kept working to give your family nice things and never complained. You are my hero for sure. We appreciate you more than you can ever know and love you so very, very much. You will always be my Daddy and I will always be your little Laura Lyn whom I love with all my heart and always will.

Our favorite Uncle will live on in our hearts forever. He always had a story or a joke and was the first to grab cards when anyone said “who wants to play pitch?” We all loved him so dearly and will remember him with lots of love. A kind, gentle loving man who will be missed by many.
