Obituary of Paul Facey

Paul Facey, 79, of Cortland, NY passed away on Wednesday January 8, 2025. He was born on November 5, 1945, the son of the late William and Marguerite Facey. Paul was a loving partner, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Above all, he loved his family. In his free time, Paul enjoyed golfing, camping, and boating and being on the water. He loved going to his camp with Nancy in Blodgett Mills. Paul and Nancy also looked forward to their yearly trips to Boothbay Harbor in Maine. He was a dedicated member of the Cortland VFW, American Legion, and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Paul will be remembered for his loving and calm demeanor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Paul is survived by his partner of over 30 years, Nancy Morton, his children Kimberly (Dwayne) Stevens, John Morton, Ellen Surine, and Christine Facey, his brother William (Carole) Facey, his grandchildren Bobby Gorlick, Danielle Gorlick, Alecia Morton, Annabelle Stevens, Jaden Paul Stevens, Addyson Surine, Ashlyn Surine, Josiah Morton, Joshua Morton, and his beloved dog Bo Facey. There are no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home is assisting the family.
