The members and friends at the United Presbyterian Church of Cortland are saddened by the passing of Ardis. She had a long and good life. We commend her to the embrace of our loving and gracious God. Our sympathy is extended to her family. May God give you comfort.

We were so sad to hear of Ardis's passing. She was a lovely person and a wonderful neighbor. We still reminisce about our first meeting with Ardis and Newell at the river. They both encouraged us, with warmth and humor, to purchase the cottage next door to them. We will truly miss her.

This saddens me so…
Ardis was not only a client but a dear friend. The stories she’d share about Mr. Willcox her true love, her children, fishing, their cottage, & great grandchildren… Her honesty & advice was always appreciated. An amazing lady that will forever have a place in my heart. Now her and Mr. Willcox are reunited!

Mrs. Wilcox was a wonderful lady who I have known for the last 40 years. We have been fishing with her son Steve and her husband until his passing each year. Each year she would always enjoy a fish dinner at the Clipper Inn with my family with the fish we caught! She’s now united with her husband.
