Obituary of Laurel Petrella

Laurel Ann Petrella (Miller) born on September 15th, 1946 in Cortland, NY quietly went to her eternal home on February 2nd, 2025, she was 78 years old. Laurel adored her children, grandchildren and her pets. She loved long phone calls with friends and family, and especially loved coffee visits at her house. She loved pizza nights with her grandson Drew, music, movies, the Golden Girls, the Discovery channel and True Crime shows. Laurel's journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and a faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and many more whose lives she touched. Laurel is survived by her loving grandchildren Drew, Avery, RJ, Nick, and Mia, her four beloved children, Ronny, Matthew (Kristin), Shannon, Robby and her longtime dear friend, and father to her children, Bobby. She was predeceased by her parents Ronald and Jeanette as well as her sister Kristin Rinaldi. Those that knew Laurel knew that she loved fiercely and always wanted what was best for those she loved. Laurel will be remembered by her immediate family at a private event. In lieu of flowers the family ask the you consider a donation to The Orangutan Project.
