Obituary of Richard "Rick" Quaile

Richard "Rick" Quaile Jr 64 of Cortland, NY entered into his eternal rest on February 17, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born March 9, 1960 at Westover AFB Springfield, MA to Richard Sr and Elizabeth Moore. Rick was an avid Yankees, NASCAR and Buffalo Bills fan, but his true passion was being in his tow truck. He dedicated his life to becoming a towing and recovering specialist working for area businesses and helping people in their time of need. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 year Wilma Knight, his children Jason (Kari Terwilliger) Quaile, Jacklyn (Joshua) Green, Andrea Quaile and his "extended" kids Tom and Kim Whitney and Granddaughter Knightlee "Precious" Green. His mother Elizabeth Lisenby, mother-in-law Evelyn Knight, siblings Sheryl (James) Holbrook, sister-in-law Liz Adsitt Quaile, sister Rhonda Marks, brother Victor Quaile and many Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousins, Niece's and Nephews. Rick was pre-deceased by his father Richard Quaile Sr, step father Robert Lisenby Sr, father-in-law Emory Knight Sr, brother Timothy Quaile, brother-in-law Danny Marks Sr, nephew Nathan Martz and long time mentor Edgar Neff Sr. A heart felt Thank You to ALL of the staff at Hospice for making his journey a smooth one. Especially the girls who were with him on a day to day basis!! Service to be held at Wright Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY on Friday, February 28, 2025. Calling hours will be held from 4:00-5:45pm with funeral to follow at 6:00pm.
