Brunch with Nick at Stonecat Cafe, overlooking Seneca Lake one gorgeous spring day.
Nick, smiled and sang along as our favorite band, Mary Ott Band, played and sang vintage tunes.
It was a happy day.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Nick at Pall Trinity from 1988 until his retirement in 1994. After his retirement I assisted him with the drawings and design for his new home, it was a great experience I will never forget. Nick was always so kind and helpful to me and taught me more than I could ever put into words. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to all of Nick's family.

In Loving Memory of and Extraordinary Leader and Friend. It is with deep sorrow that we say goodbye to an exceptional leader, mentor, and most of all a cherished friend. For many years, Nick Renzi was more than just our boss—he was an inspiration, a guiding force, and a beacon of wisdom and kindness. His leadership shaped not only our Puerto Rico plant but also the lives of those fortunate enough to work alongside him. His unwavering dedication, integrity and genuine care for his team left an indelible mark that will never fade. He made everyone feel valued and respected.
Even after his retirement, our bond remained strong. As Jose and Yoly mentioned, we made it a point to reach out to him during our gatherings most recently on January 18, 2025, to remind him how much he meant to us. His presence was a gift, and his leadership was a privilege we never took for granted. He was the kind of leader every company dream of having, but more importantly he was a remarkable human being-one whose warmth generosity, and humility touched us all. We were truly blessed to have known and worked alongside Nick.
His legacy will live on in the lessons he imparted, the values he instilled, and the deep sense of unity he fostered among us. We will forever hold dear the memories we shared and the impact he had on our lives.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones. May they find comfort in knowing how deeply he was respected, admired and loved.
Rest in peace, Nick. You will always be remembered. Yvette Ríos

In Loving Memory of Nick Renzi
Nick Renzi was a remarkable man—one of great intelligence, insight, and understanding. I had the privilege of meeting Nick in the spring of 2024 when he needed a new roof. From our very first conversation, it was clear that he had a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and an inquisitive mind that sought to understand every detail.
During our time together, he graciously gave me a tour of his custom home—a home he had meticulously designed with the help of my friend, Michael May. As an engineer, Nick took immense pride in his work, eagerly sharing his drawings and the extensive research that guided his vision. His passion for learning and creating was truly inspiring.
When it came time to install his shingles, Nick took his place in the garage, sitting in his lawn chair, offering encouragement to the crew. He deeply valued the hard work of others and showed my team nothing but respect and appreciation. Seeing the mutual admiration between him and my crew was something special.
Nick’s generosity knew no bounds. I will never forget the day he called me, asking to pay for a friend’s roof—one they could not afford themselves. His kindness was never performative; it was simply who he was.
Nick often spoke of his family, his beloved wife, and his faith. We had conversations about God, about life, and about the journey that ultimately leads us home. Nick, I have no doubt that you are now resting in the warm embrace of our Savior, reunited with your lovely wife.
You will be deeply missed, but your kindness, wisdom, and generosity will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing you.
With respect and gratitude,
Jeff Fredrickson

I have many wonderful memories of the Renzi family. I worked at Pall for 43 years and Nick was the best President of Pall we ever had. He cared deeply about the plant and it's employees. I'm grateful to have known Nick and he will be missed. Sincerely,

I would like to offer my condolences to the Renzi family on the passing of Nick. I met Nick when I went to work at PTM in 1971. He was the "boss" & I was a new union member. We would argue just about everything, every day we saw each other. If one of said "the sky is blue", the other one would disagree! This went on for about 20 years. I don't know exactly why, when, or how, but all of a sudden we became friends. I remember meeting him in Sterling, NY @ the Renaissance Fair before his retirement. We chatted for over an hour & became the best of friends. Thank you for the memories & your contributions to our community. RIP Nick - you deserve it, and may God bless you with eternal peace. ✝️

Our most sincere and deepest sympathy to the family, friends and all those who had the honor and privilege of knowing Nick. His legacy will forever live in the hearts of every employee who in one way or another, participated with him at Pall Puerto Rico. As many of use, Nick retired many years ago; however, we did not cut ties with our friend Nick. Once a year, a group of retired employees gather and that one call to Nick was always part of our gathering. Just as it was this past January, we all had the opportunity to laugh with him, remember good times and, as usual we said our goodbyes “we’ll call you again next year Nick!” (We will cherish that call for every) Jose Cubero & Yoly Cubero

Nick Renzi was a force of nature. He informed, inspired, challenged and motivated everyone near him. And yes, he was tough. Everything that he did was done to the maximum of his ability and he expected no less from the people he cared about. The power of his motivation instilled in his colleagues the desire to go beyond their perceived limitations, achieving goals they thought were unreachable. I worked in business and at home with Nick for 40 years and his mentorship changed my life. Was it easy? No. Was it worth it? Yes, a hundred times over. Rest easy, Nick. You earned it.

My condolences to the Renzi family. Early in my career at Pall Trinity, Mr. Renzi would often call me to his office to check on me and offer sound advice and direction. I still remember those conversations from the early ‘90’s. He was kind, and he cared. I always appreciated that. He was a great man who gave back to the Cortland community. It was an honor and a privikege to know him.
