Obituary of Jeffrey "chipper" Stockton

Jeffrey "Chipper" Stockton, 56, of Cortland, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born and raised in Cortland, he was a proud graduate of Cortland High School and later graduated from Elmira College. Chipper had a passion for life and was deeply devoted to his family, friends, and his beloved dog, Kato. He enjoyed a variety of activities, including golfing, cooking, and traveling to Ocean City, M.D. A true sports enthusiast, he was an avid fan of the LA Rams, Florida State, lacrosse, and college football. His love for Frank Sinatra's music was also a defining part of his character. He was a loving godfather, brother, cousin, and friend, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Chipper was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Linda Stockton. He is survived by his brothers Ryan, Sam, Daniel, and Michael, and his sister Megan, and many friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
