Fred was a quiet but friendly member of our class of 1963. He was always happy to see his old class mates at our reunions and talk about times good and bad during our tears at Cortland High School. Fred will be missed, but remembered. My condolances to the family. RIP Fred.

I've know Fred since for several years. His brother, Charlie, was my brother's best friend. I got to know Fred much better in later years through our memberships in the American Legion and Auxiliary. When the Auxiliary approached Fred to participate in an Honor Flight he agreed. I sat with him to fill out is application and submitted it on his behalf. When is great nephew, Zachary, chose to be his guardian this was a perfect match. I am so glad that Fred and Zachary went together and shared the remarkable experience.
Fly high with the angels my dear friend. Celebrate your eternal freedom with your brother and mine. You will be missed on earth but I am sure, those who have gone before you have welcomed you with open arms.
Rest in peace in God's loving arms.

It was awesome having Fred on Mission 16 , Twin Tiers Honor Flight, and so happy he enjoyed it. Our veterans are all special, especially Fred. Thank you for your service Fred.
