David Colantonio, 89, of Cortland, NY went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 23, 2025. He was born December 19, 1935, in Montorio Nei Frentani, Italy. He is the son of the late, Domenico Colantonio and Carmina DeStefano. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Maddalena Nappa. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and friend. David worked as a mason and plasterer for the State University of Cortland NY. David also worked as a chef for The Hotel Cortland. David is survived by the love of his life, Beatrice Partigianoni, whom he has been married to for 66 years, in which they were inseparable. David is survived by his daughters Debra (Kevin) Bishop, Terri (Benny) LaRocca, Doreen Babcock (Jeffery Soule), Amy (Matthew) Hegedus. Sister-in-law Ruth Partigianoni. Grandchildren Deanna Bishop, Kaitlyn Bishop, David (Jodie) Griffin, Amber (Clark) Cook, Philip Pinto, Brittany (Sean) Daigle, Brandon Babcock, and Benny Jr. (Angela) LaRocca. Great grandchildren Emmanuelle, Augustine, Evangeline, Anastasia, Collin, Amelia, Brady, Owen, Marley, Biagio, Ariella, and nieces, nephews, and cousins. David was a member of the Assembly of God church, serving as head usher and board member. David enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, including traveling and taking cruises. David also enjoyed cooking, gardening, making homemade wine, and building the many homes he has lived in over the years. Services will be private.
