Brenda S. Lambert 36 of Marathon unexpectedly went to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on May 30 2025. Brenda was a loving soul with a large family and a bigger personality. Brenda leaves behind her daughter Winter Smith (Walterboro, SC), her mom Deana Lambert (Walterboro, SC), father Edward Long (Homer, NY), her brother Vaughn Long (Cortland, NY) , sister Natasha Long (Ithaca, NY), her brother Nathan Long (Cortland, NY), brother Caleb Ballard ( Cincinnatus, NY), sister McKenzie Ballard (Cincinnatus, NY), brother Chase Ballard (Cincinnatus, NY), sister Shari Long (Cortland, NY), brother Christian Long (Homer, NY) and her loving papa Lester Lambert (Cuyler, NY). Many aunts, uncles and cousins. Scott Crouch (Morrisville, NY). Brenda also leaves behind many friends from all over the US. Brenda was a kind loving soul who loved to travel and see new things. Brenda was a member of Two Rivers Church of Cortland. Brenda was an auto parts delivery driver for Auto Zone of Cortland NY. Brenda was a loving friend and mother. She was predeceased by her grandmother pat lambert, grandmother Evelyn long and grandfather Hobart Long. Brenda loved country music as well as 90s pop music. She had a bubbly personality and went by the nickname of bubbles. She was outgoing and personable with a smile on her face. She loved to drive fast and be wild and reckless yet managed to stay out of too much trouble. She is loved by many and will continue to live on in their memories. Brenda will have a small service on Wednesday, June 18 at 10 AM at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, with procession to Glenwood Cemetery in Homer starting at 11 AM.
