Nancy Heller, 73, passed away on Monday July 7, 2025. She was born on June 28, 1952 in Cortland, NY.
Nancy was a long-time resident of Cortland. She was a loving wife and mother who loved her family and pets dearly. In her free time, she loved listening to country music, her favorite of all time was the band Alabama.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Montgomery Heller Sr., her children Montgomery (Anna) Heller Jr., and Peggy Heller. She also leaves behind her sister Melanie (Mike) Stevens, her grandchildren Alicia Heller, Alijah Heller, Asia Heller, Axiom Heller, Brandon Heller, Jordan Stanford, Christopher Stanford, and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Emma Marshall Lee, and her siblings Rose (Richard) Brown and Lloyd (Pat) Thomas Lee.
Calling hours will be held on Monday July 14, 2025 from 12-1pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY. A funeral service will follow at 1pm. Burial will follow immediately at the Cold Brook Cemetery.
