I met John as a customer at Denny’s Restaurant in Cortland and he gave me his card. A couple days later we had water problem at midnight I called his number and John came and fix the problem for us. From that day he became our trusted handy man. He was like a brother but true friend. When he got his motorcycle he rode it to the restaurant to show me. He was so happy. He took great pride in his work. We called and checked on each other all the time. I will truly miss our calls and seeing him coming to the restaurant.

My sincere condolences to the family , I can remember when his family lived in Groton and also in McLean, I think we used to try and fix the neighborhood kids bicycles or put their bike chains back
