Regrets for Mike's passing. So sorry we never connected while he resided in McGraw. We were friends all through school, a close group of 19. Recall old days at Ming Kasso's and the Transcript
I admired Mike for his quiet intelligence and humble personality, clearly among the brightest in my life. Mike, Doc Skelly, Gary McGuane, YT were best friends through the years at St John's and LH Academy. That group laughed outloud on the living room floor above Kasso's, listening to the raw comedy of George Carlin. He will be missed. Regret we never connected, living so close. I failed in couple of attempts to find him, local queries came up empty. Our paths never crossed at IBM, unfortunately. We chatted on the phone some 10 plus years while he at SUNY, me then w/ Carrier in Florida. I had a deep respect for Mike, and the entire Lea family. You should know that most Susquehanna residents recognized and respected the collective intelligence of the Lea family. My sincere condolences. Pleased he had so many Leas; sisters, wife, grandchildren nearby as he passed.
RIP dear friend.

Dad I know you’re with us in spirit now and I’ll always remember our last conversation. You didn’t have an easy life and worked hard to make sure we had it easier than you did growing up. Love you and see you on the other side xxoo

For Dad,
You could be a grumpy old soul, but you were my grumpy old soul. Beyond the tough exterior was a man of profound loyalty and love. You took me in and gave me a name, a home, and a father. I will forever be grateful for the strength you showed and the care you gave, even on the toughest days. Rest easy now. Your job is done, and I will never forget you. I love you and miss you.

Q: What will you never forget about Michael?
A: To my love. We shared almost 44 years together. So many memories. I will miss hearing you call me “Grandma”. I will miss being called Dr Lea. But most of all I will miss you. Where ever you are I know you will be watching over me and our beautiful children and grandchildren. I know you are saying stop those tears. But these tears are tears of love. Until we are together again fly high my love ♥️
