Obituary of John N. Crannage (LJ)

John N. Crannage (LJ), 55, of Cortland, NY passed away on Monday September 8, 2025. He was born on September 15, 1969, the son of the late John and Carol Kilar Crannage. John was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He was born in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Cortland Highschool in 1987. He worked hard as a car buyer/seller for many businesses in Cortland. John's favorite pastime was being with his family and friends and entertaining in his basement, where many fond memories were made. John is survived by his sisters Susan (Gary) Sheely and Kelly (Bradley) Phoenix, and his nephew John (Rachael) Sheely. In addition to his parents, John is predeceased by his grandparents on both sides of his family. John's family would like to thank the staff at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center for their countless hours of care. Calling hours will be held on Saturday September 13, 2025 from 10am-12pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY. A memorial service will follow at 12pm.
