Helen Cruz , 81, of Cortland, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at the Cortland Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born on February 17, 1944 in Cortland to her parents, the late Ralph Paul Moore, and Ruth Inman Moore. Helen had a long and dedicated career working in housekeeping at the Comfort Inn and Suites.
Helen is survived by her loving family, her siblings Vivian Cruz and Shirley Doane, her sister-in-law Charlotte Moore and Cindy Moore, her nieces and nephews, and several great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Helen is predeceased by her husband, Pascual Cruz, brothers Wayne Moore, Edwin Moore, and Randy Moore, and a brother-in-law, Jose Cruz.
Services will be held privately.
