My deepest Sympathy in the loss of Loretta. She fought hard for many years, to overcome the cancer.
Knowing her from our time in Orange Manor West Community in Winter Haven Florida, Loretta was a kind soul who always had a smile and kind word for others. She was a blessing to call a friend. May she rest in peace. She will be remembered by many and be remembered as a "good" and "kind" person. God rest her soul.
An old friend, Nila Thewlis

Q: What will you never forget about Loretta?
A: I always looked at Loretta like a bonus grandmother. When I was young I couldn’t pronounce her name so I called her Beretta (LOL).
Growing up, she always came up with the best campfire stories. We’d camp out at the pond and she’d tell the spookiest stories. In the morning she would make pancakes that spelled out my brother and I’s names. She taught us board games and card games like Skip-Bo (which I still love to this day). I love you so much Beretta, you’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

A memory of Loretta...her smile, especially when I was trying to teach Jan something and Jan would say "just do it for me". I'd look at Loretta and she'd smile and say "that's what she always tells me". Two people who shared their lives and showed others what true care and love meant. You will be missed but always in our heart. Vickie and Russell Manke ❤️

A dear, dear friend through Homer High. She could smile or laugh and warm your heart and even though we met seldom in following years, when we did it was like we had been together just yesterday. Go in peace Lady. Friends Forever, Ginny Carroll Glezen
