Obituary of Linda Spencer

Linda L. Spencer 7-17-1954 to 9-28-2025 of Port Watson Commons, Cortland, NY Linda passed away at the Guthrie Nursing Home after being diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer. Hospice and Guthrie and the Renzi Center provided wonderful, compassionate care and we are very grateful for them. Linda was born in Endicott, NY to Albert (Dick) and Inez Spencer. She graduated from Tioga Central High School and later achieved an AAS from Tompkins Cortland Community College. She worked at Smith Corona, CAPCO and Cortland County Group Homes. She was also a member of Crown Alliance Church and served as a Deaconess. Linda is survived by sisters Donna Mitchell Neal and Carol Spencer and brother Rikki Spencer and step siblings Susan, Robin, Lynne and John Hadlock. Predeceased by her mother, father and stepmother, brother Michael and step siblings Ronald, Michael and Jacqueline (Jackie). She did not have children but loved many as if they were her own. Linda will be missed for her humor, her laughter and her love.
