Obituary of Patricia Seibert

Patricia (Patty) Seibert, 70, of Camillus, NY passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday October 26, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1955, the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Seamans Wakula. Patty was a loving wife, mother, step- grandmother, sister, and friend. Above all, she loved her family and her most cherished title was “Mom.” She earned her B.S. from SUNY Oswego prior to her employment with Cortland/Syracuse Savings Bank, where she worked her way up to branch manager, prior to her retirement. She took great pride in her volunteer work for the Homer School district, and she also served as a part time merchandiser for American Greetings. Patty was an accomplished skier and was even the secretary for the Greek Peak Ski Club, where her children ski raced. Family was the center of her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Jeff Seibert, her children Tim (Abby) Seibert and Sam Seibert, her brother Gary (Wendy) Wakula, cherished step-grandchildren, brothers/sisters-in-law, nephews/nieces and close life-long friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Karen Wakula Levan Calling hours will be held on Saturday November 1, 2025 from 11am-1:30pm, at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY, with memorial service to start at 1:30pm.
