David F. Wood, 64, of Cortland went home to be with his Lord and savior on November 5, 2025 at the Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.
He was born on October 9, 1961 in Cortland, NY. David made his career as a home health aide, caring for the clients of Liberty Resources. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and camping. David was a man strong in his faith and enjoyed his fellowship with friends at church. In addition to family, friends, and faith, David was a Syracuse University Sports Fan, always watching their football and basketball games.
He is survived by his partner Tracy Coville, his son Cicero Wood, his nephew Daniel Wood, his best friend Red Cloud, and friends Pastors Nate and Rita Wright.
