Uncle Bob was family to me, since my childhood. He was a strong man, a wise man, a very loving and caring man, who would do all he could to help others, HE FELT needed it whole heartedly and shunned those who tried to take advantage of him. I have so many wonderful memories of him and I laughing a lot, talking about everything and anything, that came up. He worked hard to live the basic life and provide for himself and his needs. I LOVE YOU Uncle Bob and you will forever be missed and remembered, as it broke my heart to hear of your passing, but I smile at our times together, throughout my life, thus so far. May you rest in eternal peace with God's speed.

Forgot to add that he LOVED my cooking and would spend loads of time here with me so he could have a good old fashioned cooked meals. If he couldn't come to me, I would go to him and bring him the food. He would ALWAYS say, 'You're one great cook." He truly enjoyed my homemade breads/muffins/stews/sausage milk gravy over homemade biscuits....LESS salts and sugars, due to his diabetes, but he still loved it all....I will miss cooking for him and spending quality time with him.

Hard to pick just one memory to share!! But mostly his generosity to me and my children in our darkest times!! Lots of laughter lots of solid advice always!! Bob was one of a kind and he will always be remembered and the time with him cherished!! My heartfelt condolences to his family!!

I remember as a young teenager going racoon hunting with uncle Bob. A lot of middle of the night wandering in the woods chasing the sound of his dog. Forever memory and very tiring. Very productive nights. Chris Ryan aka Jake
