Obituary of Harold White

Harold Edward White (also known as Ed or Sid) of Truxton, NY passed away November 28th, 2025 at Guthrie Medical Center at the age of 88. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and was a professional trapper for many years. He worked for the Cortland County Highway Department as a Senior Road Construction Foreman for over 44 years and later took a position as a Groundsman at the Dwyer Memorial Park of Preble, NY. He attended K-12 Hartnett Schools (later known as Hartnett Elementary Schools) in Truxton, NY. Harold was predeceased by his parents Harold L. and Elizabeth M. White and his wife Patricia (Dockstader) White. He is survived by his son Gary E. White and two grandsons Edward Elbert White and Phillip Thomas Stack, several great grandchildren and his sister, Barbara J. (White) Moltion of Jamesville, NY.
