Obituary of Sonnette Henry

Sonnette “Sonnie” Jean (Brown) Henry, 62, of Cortland, New York, passed away at home on November 29 after a lengthy illness. A graduate of Cortland, Sonnie, worked for many years as a caregiver and aide. She loved friendly conversation and spending time with good company, especially her many grandchildren. She enjoyed motorcycle rides and going on long drives with her husband of 27 years. She is survived by her husband, Darryl Henry; their children, Seth (Vicki) Wooldridge, Shay (Everett) Stone, Stephanie (Zack) Wooldridge, Kristi Henry, Chad Henry, and Dean (Jade) Allen; many grandchildren; her siblings Wesley (Ellen) Brown, Peter Brown, Darrell (Karen) Brown, Joanne (Paul) Darmento, Dwayne (Becky) Brown, and Valerie (Michael) Mau; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Earl D. and Barbara J. Brown, and her sister-in-law, Karen Brown.
