Daniel H. Kenyon, 72, of Moravia passed away December 23, 2025, with family by his side. He was born November 6, 1953, in Cortland NY.
Dan was lifelong resident of the area. He had been employed with Gutchess Lumber Co. for over 38 years. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Moravia and volunteered for the Moravia Hope Pantry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling with Jillisa Vellake Entertainment.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa and Jacob Bengeyfield, his brothers Mike and Lisa Kenyon, Robert and Cheryl Kenyon, Donald and Valerie Kenyon, Douglas (Candy Greene) Kenyon, his grandchildren Adeline and Lucas, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents Carl Kenyon and Florence Terrill, and by his wife Brenda Kenyon.
A calling hour will be held Friday January 2, 2026, 2-3 pm with a funeral service to begin 3 pm with Pastor Dan Hull officiating at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. Spring Burial will be at the Glenwood Cemetery, Homer NY.
