Rita Rowe, 73, of Cortland, NY passed away on Saturday March 21, 2026. She was born on May 9, 1952 in Corning, NY.
Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. In her free time, Rita loved doing things with Danny. She enjoyed cooking and having meals together, doing work together, and they enjoyed going to the local races together. Rita also had a deep love for horses and anything related to horses. Over the last three years, Rita spent a lot of time at the Adult Daycare Program at the hospital, which she really loved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Rita is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Danny Rowe, her children David Thompson and Missy Conger, and her many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rita is predeceased by her son Kenneth Thompson, and her siblings Kenneth, Diane, Mary, Carol, and Barb.
