Brookins Family,
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I know how much she meant to her family. Pat has passed on her wonderful traits of kindness, giving and humor. My good friend Maria - cherish the memories and continue to exude those amazing characteristics that were passed on to you from your mom. May those memories bring you comfort.

Pat was so welcoming when I started working at the hospital with her years ago. She always had a candy dish full of candy in her office; I think it was because she wanted to add something good to everyone's day. She was a positive and warm presence. A wonderful human being!

I never met your mom, but I certainly understand that the loss of your mom is profoundly sad. Cherish your happy memories. I hope they give you peace as you grieve.

We will always miss your smiling face at family gatherings and events. Always quick to hug and laugh. Now whenever Ronin sees caramel creams he says “that’s great grandmas candy!”

It's no surprise why her favorite coffee mug was all about being a grandma...and also a GREAT Grandma.

Aunt Pat, I will miss you. You were always loving and funny. You are now in heaven with three of your sisters and your mom, pain free and being with your savior Jesus. Until we meet again.

Pat was one of the first people at St. Mary's Church--and school--our family met back at Christmastime 1980. We were brand new in town, living on Lincoln Ave. Our baby Sarah was 3 months old, and we put her on a sled and took her to church after a huge snowstorm. Memories. More recently, saw Pat at P&C Fresh--we kinda stared at each other: Wait whutttt????? I have known you for over 45 years ! ! ! How can that possibly be? Condolences to all the family she left behind to mourn her loss--but also to be grateful for the time she was here.

Mom and I both had some lovely conversations with Aunt Pat recently. She was such a kind, caring, and sweet soul. Although years and miles apart these two sisters would just reconnect and talk about family, memories, and old lady Gramma and Mom life. She will be truly missed and I will cherish our conversations. She recently made me feel so special in a very deliberate way...we loved her and she will be very missed in her physical form but will always be present in our hearts. We will reminisce and speak of her often as we will for Aunt Syl, Aunt Jackie, and Aunt Cindy. Sending our most sincere condolences out to you all from Arizona. Love you all.
