Obituary of Keith Plumadore

Keith R. Plumadore, 63, of 20 Ellwood Ave., Cortland passed away unexpectedly March 28, 2026. He was born October 2, 1962 in Carthage, NY to Daniel C. Plumadore Sr. and Sharon (Hughes) Plumadore. He was raised and educated locally, graduating from Homer High School in 1981. Keith loved to travel and for most of his life he enjoyed demonstrating his culinary skills in hotels and restaurants from Cortland to the Carolinas. He found joy in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and "hunting treasures". Keith is leaving behind a lifetime of laughter, love, and kindness. He was the kind of person you could always count on if you needed a helping hand or just a good laugh. Keith was known for his sense of humor and his big heart and had a way of brightening even the hardest days. He never hesitated to show up for those who needed him. Keith's love was steady, his jokes unforgettable, and anyone who got to witness his larger than life personality was better for it. We smile knowing how much joy he brought to our lives and that joy will live on in anyone lucky enough to have known him. Keith is survived by the love of his life, his "darlin" Michelle Farron. His "little" brother Daniel C (Becky) Plumadore, Jr. His daughters Amber (Chad) Miller, McKenna (Jeremy) Stewart, Samantha Blake, and McKenna Bovard. Other survivors include his Stepmother Kristine Dini, step brothers Aaron and Joe Gasper, as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by the extended Farron and North families. He won their hearts and will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. He was predeceased by his parents, infant sister Tina Marie Plumadore, and his beloved very good boy Bob the beagle. Calling hours will be Wednesday April 8, 2026 10-11:45 am with a memorial service to begin 12 noon at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045.
