Obituary of Audrey Jones

Audrey Lynn Jones, 53, passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2026. Born on April 3, 1973, in Cortland, New York, Audrey was a woman whose life was defined by compassion and selflessness. She had a deep love for helping others, especially those who could not help themselves. Audrey dedicated much of her life to caring for those around her, working as a daycare provider for her beloved grandchildren and providing care and comfort to the disabled and elderly. Audrey found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time floating on the river and cherished every moment with her dogs, Roman, Finn, and Leila. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support made her a pillar of strength for her family and community. She is survived by her loving daughters, Brooklin (Cody) Armstrong and Taylor (Tanner) VanDee; her cherished grandchildren, Maci Bennett, Hoyt and Archer Armstrong, Briar, Ridge, and Bodie VanDee; her niece and nephew Hannah and Jesse James Leonard; and her mother, Cathy Oliver. She also leaves behind Owen Quaile, who referred to her as his race mom. Audrey's love for her family was boundless, and her presence will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Jones; her brother, Jesse Leonard; and her grandparents, Vinnie Jones and Frank McNeal. In accordance with Audrey's wishes, no formal services will be held. A celebration of life will be planned at a later time to honor and remember her beautiful spirit. Audrey will be remembered for her kind heart, her giving nature, and the countless lives she touched.
